Hey Wax BAE's, I’m Jen, Founder of Wax By An Esthetician. I started waxing clients years ago, booked from dusk till dawn, and learned a lot about wax the hard way. Most “professional” wax at the time was either overpriced, underwhelming, or downright low quality. Every bag I opened, every spread I pulled, something was off. The wax was sticky or brittle, pulled unevenly, left breakage or missed hairs, yet the price tag made me do a double take: $50 to $80 per bag and even more per pound variant. And that was before I added supplies, spatulas, aftercare products. My overhead was killing me.I got tired of paying for poor product quality.I got tired of settling for overpriced wax just because it had a “fancy” name. So I decided to do something about it.

Wax By An Esthetician was built out of frustration but also out of passion. I asked myself, these three questions:
